Kirsten King is an acrylic painter in the style of abstract expressionism. Her work reflects the spontaneous freedom of bold, expressive movement balanced by simple forms in monochromatic color. Often exploring themes of contrasting forces in the likes of form vs. fluidity, ideology vs. ambiguity, spontaneity vs. structure, King's pieces reflect gestural brush strokes, visual textures, and triangle design principles that invoke the viewer to find calm in the chaos.

Prior to becoming an artist, Kirsten was a fashion and beauty photo producer in New York City and a clean beauty and fragrance entrepreneur.
Through her art, Kirsten invites us to explore the dynamic forces that shape our lives and encourages us to embrace the freedom of uninhibited self-expression.
